KPTZ’s Cats in Our Laps, hosted and curated by Tossed Salad’s Phil Andrus, now airs two times a week. Catch Cats on Sundays from 8-10pm, with an encore presentation on Fridays from 3-5pm, following Filter. Tune in for 2 hours of music, short readings, and conversation. Embracing Our Foster Children & Their Families
(Airdate: June 1, 2021) There is a “triad of care” supporting foster kids and their families in our community. Gary Frogner, Volunteer Coordinator of Office Moms and Dads and Elsa Golts, of Foster Care Support of Jefferson County speak about their organizations, which intertwine along the timeline of the children during the most critical and upsetting moments when they initially enter foster care. Listen in as Missy Nielsen of Everybody Can speaks with these passionate and caring folks assisting those families who have children living in dependency in real and tangible ways.
PT Farmer’s Market Vaccinations June 5
The Department of Emergency Management together with Jefferson County Public Health will staff a vaccine clinic at the Farmer’s Market on Tyler Street on Saturday, June 5 from 9am-1pm. The vaccine at this clinic will be Johnson & Johnson. Those 18 and older are eligible for this vaccine. Appointments are preferred but walk-ins are accepted. Click here to schedule an appointment.
